Based on how she reacts to a nurse’s name, the doctors identify the girl’s own name as Clara. Not only does the young girl not talk, but she also refuses to go anywhere by herself and often turns aggressive towards the doctors and nurses. With treatment at the hospital, the girl does recover physically, but her mental state confuses everyone around her. Although the girl is not too injured from her antics on the road, the doctors find her to be already sick, as her kidneys hardly work. As long as her parents are not found, Paula and Simon visit the girl in the hospital every day and keep checking with the doctors. The police also get involved, as they try to match the girl’s identity with any of the missing children’s reports but can find nothing.
As the motorcycle rider crashes in order to save the girl, Simon and Paula immediately take the child to a hospital and get her admitted. Around the same time, a motorcycle speedily approaches from the other side, but the girl sees this and dangerously runs toward the vehicle.
